Chinese New Year is on the first day of the first  month on the lunar calendar, and usually it falls in February on the solar calendar. However, the lunar new year celebrations run from New Year's Eve, which is the last day of the last lunar month, to the lantern festival which falls on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month.

The public holiday time for Chinese new year is one week. But usual the New Year festival is around 15 days. And the date on solar calendar for Chinese new year is different every year.

Chinese new year is the grandest festival in China. Everybody will try their best to go back hometown and get together with their families . To avoid the traffic problem before the festival , some workers usually leave earlier . That is the most important reason why the production time in factory takes longer , and even they refuse your order before new year festival. Otherwise the factory has to pay more for the workers to keep them till your order finished. Another hand, it is a high season for shipping also. That is another reason of the price increasing before new year festival

To avoid your order delaying and cost increasing , it’s better to prepare and confirm your purchasing plan 2-3 months before Chinese new year festival.
